1. Provide training for parental skills.
2. Share the strategic plan with all parents. Include training for parents in leadership, advocacy, and taking an active role at school.
3. Regularly communicate the plan to parents while providing training on various process parents may be involved in such as truancy, suspensions, expulsions, SST's, complaint process, addressing the school board, etc.
4. Establish effective two way communication between district and parent.

2. Maintain a clear, current and concise relationship with local media to inform and educate the public.
3. Generate community commitment to the school district's strategic plan and establish partnerships with businesses and groups to achiev the missions and beliefs of the district.
