A message from the Superintendent 

Welcome to our website!  What a great way to keep up with what’s happening in our schools.  As always, this is a constantly changing, work in progress that has evolved into a great communication tool. 

I am proud of our district.  Many improvements are on-going and our test scores continue to rise.  Focusing on academic achievement for each individual student is our goal.  Accomplishing this goal is not an easy task.  Teamwork and collaborative efforts continue to be our main focus while eliciting input from the community.  It really does take each and every one of us to educate our children.  

Bright Local is a small, rural district nestled in the southern most section of Highland County.  It’s a great place to raise a family with plenty of farmland still around.  If you are unfamiliar with southern Ohio, take some time to drive through and enjoy the scenery.  It’s well worth the trip.

As a reminder, our Bright Local Board meets the 3^rd Wednesday of every month.  We welcome visitors and enjoy receiving feedback from the public.
